Words cannot describe the shock and deep sadness that we all feel at the tragic loss that we experienced yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Andrew Boldt and his parents. As we come together to grieve and begin the healing process, the university will make available many resources, and you will be hearing more about them in the coming days. In the meantime, I have been informed by Purdue police that they expect that the EE building will remain closed until about 6pm today (Wednesday 1/22/2014). Therefore, I am asking ECE faculty/staff/students who have their main business in the EE building to stay away today. (ECE faculty: Please advise your graduate students who have EE offices appropriately.) Please direct any questions that you might have via email to me. Thanks, ragu -- Venkataramanan Balakrishnan Michael and Katherine Birck Head Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Dear colleagues,

Words cannot describe the shock and deep sadness that we all feel at the tragic loss that we experienced yesterday.

(ECE faculty: Please advise your graduate students who have EE offices appropriately.)

Please direct any questions that you might have via email to me.

Thanks,
ragu
