Aden Hurd is a senior in Electrical Engineering and a member of the Co-Op program. Over the summer, Aden was a functional vehicle testing intern with Daimler Truck North America. Aden is a teaching assistant for OPP's ENGR 103 course, and involved with the Professional Practice Ambassadors. 

 

At his summer internship with DTNA, Aden tested prototype and next generation powertrains on the road from Detroit to California to validate functionality and benchmark performance. Aden also worked on projects to innovate the next form of testing for the company with a completely platform agnostic system in order to follow a software package through the entire product validation cycle. 

 

Aden is also a crew chief of a Purdue Grand Prix team, and Motorcycle Riders of Purdue University. In his personal time, Aden enjoys working on his 67' Mustang, or 80' Honda Motorcycle, as well as cooking, and working out.
