Emily Barone is a senior in Biomedical Engineering and a member of the Co-Op program. She was a validation co-op with Catalent Biologics for 3 rotations and a manufacturing intern for Eli Lilly and Company over the summer. Emily is also a teaching assistant for OPP’s ENGR 103 Lilly Scholars course. 

 

During her 3 co-op rotations, Emily assisted with many different projects, such as summary reports and laboratory experiments. At her Eli Lilly internship, she worked in a process development lab and completed a vendor comparison study. 

 

Emily is also a tour guide for the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering. Outside of school and work, she likes to play the Nintendo Switch, rock climb, complete puzzles, and cook.
