Evan Carr is a junior in Mechanical Engineering and also studying Spanish and Global Engineering Studies through the GEARE program. He is the current Vice President of Growth for GEARE Ambassadors, and a teaching assistant for the OPP’s ENGR 103 Professional Development course. Evan is continuing a parallel co-op role with Caterpillar in Lafayette he began in January 2024.

 

During his parallel co-op, Evan worked in diesel and natural gas engine production testing. He also gained data handling skills to create plant efficiency reports. While not at work, Evan enjoys running and biking, as well as playing guitar and cooking.
