Kate Riehle is a Junior in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Over this past summer, Kate was a Component Design Intern at Rolls-Royce here in Indianapolis. Previously Kate also was an Intern at Banning Engineering for 2 years working alongside the Survey team and Civil Engineers. Kate is now a teaching assistant for OPP's ENGR 103 course. 

 

At her summer internship with Rolls-Royce, Kate aided in the approval of component's design through drawing reviews, tolerance analysis, risk analysis and research. Kate also worked on data storage organization to ensure future engineers can easily reference necessary documentation. 

 

Kate is also the scholarship coordinator for the Lions Club of Plainfield, BGR team lead, and a member of SWE. Outside of school and work, Kate enjoys boating, shopping, and hiking.
