Layla Heffelmire is a junior in the Motorsports Engineering program. Over the summer she had an internship with the Della Penna Foundation working to show a new generation of high school girls different aspects of the motorsports industry. During the semester she works as a teaching assistant for OPP's ENGR 103 course and a peer leader for thermodynamics and statics. 

 

Layla is a member of the Motorsports Club and outside of school she spends her time baking, reading, and playing with her cat.
