Quinton Pedrick is a nontraditional student in Computer Science. Originally he started his academic career at Purdue University in West Lafayette studying various disciplines in the College of Agriculture. During a sabbatical from academic pursuits, he honed his technical and professional skills through a variety of endeavors including hotel management in Southwest Michigan, a Full Stack Web Development certificate from Eleven Fifty Academy, and networking opportunities across the Midwest. 

 

Quinton is a teaching assistant for OPP’s ENGR 103 course, a learning specialist and TA for EDX software development bootcamps, and committed to the active development of entrepreneurship ecosystems domestically and internationally. Working with learners at differing points of their careers and lives while navigating his own professional development has highlighted the want and need for effective professional growth opportunities that he is excited to help provide.

 

Outside of academic and professional pursuits, Quinton enjoys traveling, ecosystem preservation, and photography.
