Biography

Jenny serves as the Assistant Director, Co-op Programs & Student Development. She has been working in higher education for 10+ years and has a passion for student development. In this role, Jenny aids in recruitment and training of potential co-op students, development of new/enhancement of current co-op programs and improvement of OPP communication strategies. She works closely with academic co-op coordinators across eight colleges to increase student participation and enrich the co-op experience. Jenny has been involved as an advisor to student organizations, has served as a faculty fellow and spends time engaging in events with students, faculty and staff. She holds a BS in Health & Kinesiology from Purdue and an MA in Sport Management from Washington State University. She is a fluent Arabic speaker; her parents immigrated from Egypt in the 80’s. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and son. You can find them at local coffee shops, events and riding bikes throughout campus.
