Professional Career
Keith serves as Bechtel’s Chief Innovation Officer, responsible for supporting the enterprise through the management of various initiatives focused on improving the delivery of projects to customers across the globe. Joining Bechtel in 2008, after several years of working in the heavy civil/infrastructure sector, Keith began as a field engineer on the Motiva Crude Expansion in Port Arthur, Texas, and took on several roles of responsibility through the start-up and commissioning activities of the facility. Later he contributed to several projects in the Energy Sector, where he gained a decade of valuable field experience surrounding project delivery, contract formation and cost management, as well as field supervision. Keith moved into a corporate-level role as Operations Manager where his focus was on improving processes through innovation. In addition, he provided oversight of the development of Bechtel's Welding and Applied Technology Center, all leading him to become the Chief Innovation Officer for the company.
Purdue Experience
Completed a 5-session co-op with Traylor Bros., Inc in Louisville, KY, Cape Girardeau, MO, Galveston, TX and Evansville, IN.
Participated in Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS), where he coordinated an award-winning design of a new soccer complex for the Tippecanoe Youth Soccer Assocation.
Provides valuable input on technology development for various projects within the Lyles School of Civil Engineering's Robert L. and Terry L. Bowen Laboratory for Large-Scale Research.
